SalesHunt is a B2B sales intelligence platform that helps businesses identify and connect with relevant decision-makers.

2. What This Policy Covers
This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal data in connection with our website (saleshunt.ai), our application, and business contact data discovered through our platform.
It applies to:
- Customers and users who create accounts and use SalesHunt
- Business contacts whose professional information appears in our database (see Section 5)
- Website visitors
3. Personal Data We Collect From Customers
Account and Profile Data
Name, company email, company name, and password (stored as a salted hash).
Customer Content
Data you upload or enter into the platform, such as contact lists, ideal customer profiles, and campaign data. Customer content is logically isolated per customer. We do not use customer content to train any machine learning or language models.
Payment and Billing Data
Card type, last 4 digits, billing address, and billing contact details. Full payment details are handled exclusively by Stripe.
Device, IP, and Security Data
IP addresses and device information for security, threat detection, and abuse prevention.
Usage and Analytics Data
Pages visited, features used, session identifiers, and performance data. Analytics data is pseudonymized.
Support Communications
Information you provide when contacting our support team.
We do not intentionally collect special categories of personal data.
4. How We Obtain Business Contact Data
SalesHunt collects business contact data of decision-makers at companies from the following sources:
Our own collection:
- Company websites (team pages, about pages)
- Public business registries (e.g., KvK, Handelsregister)
- Industry directories and databases

We take reasonable steps to verify that our third-party providers collect data lawfully and in compliance with GDPR. We regularly verify contact data for accuracy and correct or delete inaccurate records.
5. Information for Business Contacts Discovered Through Our Platform
This section is for individuals whose business contact data appears in our platform but who are not SalesHunt customers. This information is provided in accordance with GDPR Article 14.
What data we process
Professional name and job title, business email address, business phone number, LinkedIn profile URL, company name, industry, and role information. We only process data in a professional/business context.
Why we process your data
To enable our customers to identify and connect with relevant business decision-makers for legitimate B2B commercial purposes.
Legal basis
We rely on legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). We have conducted a Legitimate Interest Assessment documenting the three-part test (purpose, necessity, balancing). A copy is available upon request at support@saleshunt.ai.
Where we got your data
Publicly available company websites, public business registries, commercial data providers (Kaspr.io, Apollo.io), and industry directories.
Your rights
You can contact us at support@saleshunt.ai to:
- Access the data we hold about you (Art. 15)
- Rectify inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- Erase your data (Art. 17)
- Object to processing (Art. 21)
- Restrict processing (Art. 18)
We will respond within one month. When you object or request erasure, we will delete your data and add you to a suppression list to prevent re-collection.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (see Section 15).
How long we keep your data
We retain business contact data for up to 3 years from the last enrichment or update. Data is deleted sooner when a data subject requests erasure or objects. Data subjects who request deletion are added to a suppression list to prevent re-collection.

Where we rely on legitimate interest, you may object at any time. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw at any time.
7. Data Retention
- Account data: Duration of your account. Deleted upon account termination after a 30-day export window.
- Billing and payment records: 7 years from transaction date (Dutch fiscal obligations).
- Business contact data: 3 years from last enrichment or update, or until the data subject objects or requests erasure.
- Usage and analytics data: Up to 26 months.
- Support communications: Duration of business relationship + 3 years.
8. Who We Share Data With
We share personal data with the following service providers:

We may also disclose personal data to legal authorities where required by law, professional advisors under confidentiality, and successors in connection with a corporate transaction.
We do not sell personal data.
9. International Data Transfers
All data is hosted within the EU. Our only non-EU subprocessor is Apollo.io (US), which is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, an adequacy mechanism recognized by the European Commission.
10. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256), hashed and salted passwords, role-based access controls, and EU-based hosting with firewall and DDoS protection.
11. Automated Decision-Making
SalesHunt uses automated processing to match business contacts with customer ideal customer profiles based on professional attributes (job title, seniority, company size, industry). This does not produce legal effects or similarly significant effects on data subjects (Art. 22).
12. Cookies and Tracking
Website: Strictly necessary cookies only. No tracking cookies without consent.
Application: We use PostHog for product analytics (EU-hosted, pseudonymized data). You may opt out by contacting support@saleshunt.ai.
13. Children
Our services are not directed at individuals under 16. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly.
14. Your Rights
If you are a customer or website visitor, you may exercise the following rights by contacting support@saleshunt.ai:
- Access, rectify, erase, or restrict your personal data
- Data portability
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Withdraw consent where applicable
We will respond within one month.
15. Complaints
You have the right to lodge a complaint with:

16. Changes to This Policy
